"Ticker" has done an awesome job in Montreal backing up Carey Price.  He came in last season in the playoffs after Kreider took out Carey Price in game 1 of the semi finals against the Rangers.  He has won everywhere he has played so far, so hopefully the Habs can give him a cup ring this year too!

Davis played 9 games for the Habs last year and has spent the whole season with the Bulldogs so far.  He has 9 points in 30 games to this point.  He is a gritty player that isn't afraid to get into the corners.

Gabriel has 31 points in 55 games with the Bulldogs this season.  He has had a few small call ups to the Canadiens this year, and is currently listed with them.  He has 2 points in 8 games with the Habs.  He is a hard working smaller player, so you may see him in action in the playoffs.

Nathan was drafted 17th overall by the Canadiens in the 2011 draft.  He played for Team Canada, winning a bronze medal at the World Jrs. in 2012.  The Habs are pretty deep for defencemen right now, so they are giving him some time to gain experience at the professional level.  He has 20 points in 57 games for the Bulldogs, so far this year.

I don't send out to the same team more than once in a month.  I guess its just a courtesy thing for me.  I screwed up this time and forgot I mailed to Desjardins 6 days earlier.  Anyway, I always like Stortini with the Oilers.  I saw him play a few times when he was with the Wolves in the OHL.    He was one tough SOB back then too!  He has 3 points and 152 PIMs this season with the Bulldogs.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why Cedrick is not in the NHL.  In 2010-11, the Lightning were struggling and couldn't find a goalie.  They then brought Cedrick up for 2 games.  His stats in those 2 games, 2 wins, a 1.00 GAA, and a .968 save percentage.  They then traded his rights to the Avalanche, and he was sent to their minor league affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.  He had a great season down there but still didn't get a call up.  So he signs with the Canadiens on a 2-way deal, knowing that Budaj and Price are both on 1 way deals, so the only chance he has at getting called up, is if one of those guys gets hurt.  Anyway, the Bulldogs are not that great this year, so he is 6-12-2 so far, but good GAA and Save percentage.  I saw him play in Hamilton a couple of years ago and he was amazing.  I thought for sure he would be the next guy to turn heads in the NHL.  Hopefully, he gets that chance again.

Louis would be playing in Montreal this year if not for the lockout.  He had 10 points last year in 45 games in 2011-12 with the Habs.  He has only played in 3 games with the Bulldogs this year, but has 2 goals.  Its always nice to add an auto of a Habs prospect!

Aaron was the player the Canadiens received for Matt D'Agostini, from the St. Louis Blues, back in 2010.  He has put up pretty good numbers with the Bulldogs, but still hasn't gotten much playing time in Montreal.  He had 35 points in 35 games in Hamilton last year, and added another 5 points in Montreal.

Nathan spent this season splitting duties with Robert Mayer in Hamilton.  He put up decent numbers on a very depleted Bulldogs roster, where most of their good players, were pulled up to Montreal for alot of the season.  He was in the Islanders' system for a few years and played 10 games for them in the 2010-11 season.

Dustin has recently signed on to play next season in the KHL for Barys Astana.  He has 1 goal in 10 games with the Habs in a very limited role.  He had a great season in Hamilton though, registering 29 points in 47 games and following that up with 16 points in 20 playoff games as the Bulldogs almost made the Calder Cup final.

16 days for a guy that spent a bit of time with the Montreal Canadiens this year.  I am sure that he will be a bigger part of that team next year, once they clear some room for him.  I watched a game in Hamilton in February and he is definitely a stand out for them.

Ben Maxwell TTM Update

I mailed 2 cards to Ben Maxwell c/o the Hamilton Bulldogs on 11/10/2009.  I received 2/2 signed on 12/03/2009.  23 days is an awesome return.  Ben has 13 points with the Dogs this year so far.  I have been buying up his rookie cards since last year, so this is a nice pair of cards to add.  Hopefully he gets called up to the big club at some point this year.
