Adam Lowry TTM Success

Mailed:  03/20/2026

Received:  04/28/2026

Days:  39

c/o:  Winnipeg Jets

39 days returned from Adam Lowry.  He has had a very solid career but like many Jets players this year, had a down season.  I am pumped to add the Team Canada card to my collection.  I may have to debate getting these signed as a new project.

Cole Perfetti TTM Success

c/o:  Winnipeg Jets

Cole had some injuries this year and down numbers from last season.  32 points in just 68 games played.  The Jets had a very rough season but were coming on strong and had a good push for a playoff spot at the end.  I do not think its worth blowing up the team and rebuilding, but who knows what they will do.

Nikolaj Ehlers TTM Success

 Mailed:  12/19/2023
Received:  6/17/2024
Days:  181
c/o:  Winnipeg Jets

Nikolaj is a solid 2 way player who averages near the 60 points per season range.  He was the only person on the ice with a clear head when Mark Scheifele ran over Jake Evans of the Canadiens when he scored an empty netter.  Nikolaj was standing overtop Evans and protecting him from the other 8 players on the ice as they got into it.  I did not have one of his autographs in my collection, so these are nice to add.

Michael Frolik TTM Success

Mailed:  2/12/2014
Received:  5/8/2017
Days:  888

So this one took a while.  Michael is now with the Calgary Flames, and just finished the playoffs after getting ousted in the 1st round.  He has been a consistent scorer over his career so far at around 1 point every 2 games.

Bryan Little TTM Success

So this is 2 long outstanding returns I have gotten from the Jets recently.  I am not sure if its the team or the players.  This is by far the longest wait I have had for a return since I started back doing this.  Just shy of 4 years.  Its still pretty cool to add these to my collection.  I watched Bryan play alot while he was with the Barrie Colts and I was always impressed with his play back then.

Devin Setoguchi TTM Success

Mailed:  10/2/2013
Received:  6/26/2015
Days:  632
c/o: Winnipeg Jets

I have had very limited success in mailing the Winnipeg Jets.  This one took over 1.5 years to get back to me.  Devin played for the Calgary Flames last year, but ended up spending some time in Adirondack in the AHL.  I am not sure where he will be next season.  I suspect that he will have to play his way on an NHL team.

Dustin Byfuglien TTM Success

Mailed:  10/24/2014
Received:  3/26/2015
Days:  153
c/o: Winnipeg Jets

I pulled this jersey card late last season, so I thought I would give it a shot to get autographed.  Dustin is a huge reason why the Jets are still in playoff contention right now.  It is going to come down to the last game of the season to see who gets that last playoff spot.

Mark is a shutdown defenceman and has carved out a nice career so far.  He had a gold at the World Jr. Championships in 2004 for USA.

Grant Clitsome is out for the rest of the season.  He had 12 points in 32 games with the Jets before getting injured.

Jim Slater TTM Success

Mailed:  1/31/2013
Received:  04/15/2013
Days:  74
c/o: Winnipeg Jets

So, I mailed him 2 cards, and neither of them are the card that I got back.  I actually like the OPC card better anyway, so a bonus for me.  Athletics are in the bloodlines for Jim Slater, his dad Bill, played for the New England Patriots in the NFL.  Jim has 2 points in 26 games with the Jets this season.  He is more of a defensive forward.

I got to watch Alex play when he was with the Barrie Colts of the OHL.  He was a good skater back then with great skills.  Fans in Winnipeg got to see some flashes of what could be with him this year.  He had 28 points with 13 goals.

Oldtimer's Hockey Challenge In Person

The Oldtimer's Hockey Challenge came through Kingston, Ontario on Monday February 28th.  I try to take in this event every year.  Their lineup is usually really good and usually includes a few Hall of Famers.  This year, Theoren Fleury made the trip!  I went hoping I could get him on an 8x10.  After the game, we waited outside and got some of the players as they boarded their bus.  Theo was great and signed for everyone.  He was definitely the main draw.
I also got Bryan Trottier on an 8x10.  He is a super nice guy.  He even came back off the bus because he realized that the puck he signed for my buddy, did not work right.  The gold paint pen I gave him was almost dead I think.  The second auto looked better on the puck I think.
Battle of the Blades star, Ron Duguay was there.  I loved watching this guy in the 80s.  It looks like he could still be out there.  We got word of him being there last minute, so all I had was a card.  I also got Dave Ellett on a card and purchased the Gaston Gingras autographed card at the souvenir table for $2!
I got Rick Middleton and Steve Shutt on hockey cards as well.
Glenn Anderson may be the biggest asshole that ever played in the NHL.  There wasn't that many people out there seeking autographs, yet when I politely asked him to sign my photo, he completely ignored me and board the bus.  He also brushed right past 3 kids that were waiting for him too.  He puts on quite an act when he is in the arena in front of everyone, but when he is out back, he is a dick.  Beware of him and Jimmy Mann.  Jimmy is lucky to even be included in an NHL legends tour.  The guy only got 30 points in his entire NHL career which consisted of a meager 293 games.
