Ryan Miller TTM Success

Mailed:  10/16/2014
Received:  4/19/2016
Days:  561
c/o: Vancouver Canucks

Ryan Miller was very good on a very terrible Canucks team this year.  He had a .916 save percentage while facing among the highest shot per game totals in the league.  He has never really had a great defence palying in front of him, so it would be cool to see how well he would play on a stronger team.

Jacob De La Rose TTM Success

Mailed:  3/21/2016
Received:  4/12/2016
Days:  22
c/o: Montreal Canadiens

Jacob is not really an offensive threat.  He will however, shut down the opposing team's best players and kill penalties.

Josh Morrissey TTM Success

Mailed:  12/23/2015
Received:  4/12/2016
Days:  111
c/o: Manitoba Moose

Josh Morrissey was an awesome defenceman on the 2015 Canadian World Junior team that won Gold.  He made the jump to pro this year with the Manitoba Moose, the farm affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.  He had 22 points for them this year, and even got a call up for 1 game with the Jets.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan In Person

Hacksaw Jim Duggan did a signing at the Sportcard Expo this weekend in Toronto.  He even brought his own 2x4s!!!  He was one of my favourites when I was a kid growing up watching wrestling.  He was SUPER nice and very talkative with everyone.  He signed a huge signature on the 2x4 and then posed for a picture with me.  This guys hands are enormous!  This is my first WWE autograph.

Kevin Pillar In Person

They had 4 current Blue Jays' players at the Sportcard Expo on Saturday.  These guys had to travel up there right after their afternoon game against the Red Sox, which they lost.  Ryan Goins, Chris Colabello and Roberto Osuna were the other ones.  I like those guys and all, but Pillar is the MAN!  I had to get his autograph.  The lineup was insane, but it was worth it in the end.

Jesse Barfield In Person

I attended the Toronto Sportcard Expo this past weekend.  Jesse Barfield was doing a signing in support of the Fergie Jenkins foundation.  I got an 8x10 from him.  My buddy took his wife's jersey to get signed and was in line before me.  Jesse was so cool.  Chatting with everyone.  Once he heard that it was my buddy's wife's jersey and that she was home with 3 kids, he added a huge inscription to go with his signature.  I was really impressed with how he interacted with the fans.  Here is the 8x10 I got.

Jiri was traded from Calgary to Florida in the time after I sent this and when he mailed it back to me.  He has 5 points in 9 games so far with the Panthers.  He went from a team with no chance at the playoffs, to now being on a team with a good shot to make a run.

An extremely long wait for this one.  Franky is now retired and does a lot of PR events for the Canadiens.

Nail Yakupov TTM Success

Mailed:  1/4/2016
Received:  1/30/2016
Days:  26
c/o: Edmonton Oilers

I was very surprised to get this one back so fast.  The Oilers' players usually send stuff out after the season is over.  Nail just come off of an injury, so maybe he used that time to answer mail.  His best bet is to probably get out of Edmonton.  That place seems to be where good young players go to die.  He was exciting to watch in Jr. with the Sting, so hopefully he can find that again with another club in the NHL.

Richard Panik TTM Success

Mailed:  12/7/2015
Received:  1/16/2016
Days:  35
c/o: Toronto Marlies

I watched Richard Panik play quite often when he was with the Belleville Bulls.  He has had some decent numbers in the AHL and probably deserves an NHL spot.  He had 25 points in 33 games with the Marlies before the Leafs traded him to the Chicago Blackhawks.  He hasn't played for their farm team yet, but probably will soon.  You may see him back in the NHL soon too.
