Montreal Canadiens Alumni game

The Montreal Canadiens Alumni tour came through our hometown.  I took my daughter with me.  We went down after the game to get some autographs.  Most of the players were very good with the kids and parents.  Patrice Brisebois came out and signed and took pictures for everyone that was there.  He was very personable.  Jocelyn Lemieux had some fun taking selfies with some of the kids.
John Scott was an absolute gem though.  He signed for us, but saw that my daughter was wearing her hockey team's warmup jacket.  He asked about the logo and then was asking about her season and how things are going.  He spent a good 10-15 minutes just talking hockey with us.  I was super impressed.
Here is our haul.
Patrice Brisebois signed puck and cards.

Aaron Asham signed cards.

Jocelyn Lemieux signed card.
John Scott signed card and puck.

Marc-Andre Bergeron puck.

Dion Phaneuf TTM Success

Mailed:  1/14/2014
Received:  6/24/2017
Days:  1257
c/o:  Toronto Maple Leafs

I wrote to Dion back in 2009 when he was with the Calgary Flames.  The Flames intercepted all mail to Dion, Iginla and Kipper back then so all I got back was a team issued card signed.  I have met him a couple of times and he has always signed for everyone.  He is currently with the Ottawa Senators, but I think he may not be for long, as they were not happy when he didn't waive his no movement clause to be exposed in the expansion draft.

So this one took a while.  Michael is now with the Calgary Flames, and just finished the playoffs after getting ousted in the 1st round.  He has been a consistent scorer over his career so far at around 1 point every 2 games.

Brendan Gallagher TTM Success

Mailed:  3/2/2016
Received:  3/23/2016
Days:  21
c/o:  Montreal Canadiens

21 days for Brendan Gallagher is insane fast!  He has had a rough time setting up in his office.  2 times in the last 2 seasons, he has broken a hand from a howitzer from the point.  He keeps going back there though!  The Habs need him to be good and healthy if they are going to make a run in the playoffs.
