Ottawa Senators IP

I won 2 tickets to the February 15th game vs the New York Islanders in the Senators Extra All-Canadian Hockey Pool by the Ottawa Citizen.
You can join the pool anytime.  Weekly winners get 2 tickets to a game.  Season winner, gets a private box for the April 7th game against the Canadiens.  Here is a link to the site.

4 of us went up to go to the game and get some autographs.  We arrived at the Scotiabank Place prior to the end of morning skate for the Sens.  It was bitter cold, -26 or so with the windchill.  I think some of the players felt sorry for us and stopped to sign a few items.  I have been hounding the Senators for about 12 years now, and in the time that Jason Spezza has been there, I have never gotten him in person.  I have gotten Alfredsson, Heatley, Yashin and Hasek many times.

"Steve", this one is for you.
A guy named Steve was the only other guy that was out there besides us.  He was out there earlier than us, so he was probably fed up with the cold.  About 10 minutes after he left, Jason Spezza stopped and signed for us.  One of my buddies got 3 jerseys signed(2 personalized and one not), and another got the game used stick he bought last year signed.  I got my McFarlane base signed and a puck.  Jason was very cool and posed for some pictures with my buddies before leaving.

I purchased a mini helmet at Hockey Life last season and had a few autos on it already.  It had Zack Smith, Jesse Winchester and Brian Elliott on it already.  I was able to add Ryan Shannon and Cory Clouston to it.
Robin Lehner came out as a passenger in a car driven by  Bobby Butler.  They both signed willingly for fans.  Not too many people recognized Lehner.  I got him on a puck.
Bobby Butler, Jesse Winchester, Chris Neil and Brian Elliott.  I had never gotten Chris Neil in person before either.
Milan Michalek, Chris Phillips and Brian Lee.

I know this is not autographed, but I had to get it.  They had 2 left handed gloves that were game used by Mike Fisher at the Sensations store at the Scotiabank Place.  The manager said I could buy one for $25.  I just could not pass this deal up.  Its just a cool item to add to my collection.
